1,000 new teachers given appointments

Appointment letters were handed over to more than 1,000 teachers of the Sri Lanka Teacher Service at an event held at Temple Trees yesterday under the aegis of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. The new graduates were recruited for teaching Advanced Level vocational subjects under the 13 Years Certified Education program.
