By Channa Fernandopulle The 100-day work program of the incumbent regime is on track and steadily approaching completion, according to senior Government officials. Ministry of Finance and Planning Department of Project Management and Monitoring Director General Dharshana Senanayake told the Daily FT yesterday that significant action had been taken under each of the 100 proposals of the program. Senanayake opined that approximately 60% of items could be considered as being completely implemented. As the country enters the tail-end of the 100 day program – which is expected to culminate in general elections towards the end of April – Government officials also announced that they would be ramping up efforts to improve awareness of the progress made under the various action items of the 100-day program, as distinguished from its program of constitutional reforms. A detailed list of the proposals under the 100-day program complete with weekly updates on the action taken under each item in addition to feedback and comments from relevant line ministries can be found on the website of the Department of Project Management and Monitoring at www.pmm.gov.lk.
