COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 119,893 persons on Wednesday and over 30% of the population over 20 years has received the third vaccine dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, booster dose coverage among the population over 20 years was 30.5% on Tuesday. As of 11 January, 74.52% of the country’s population had received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 64.48% had received the second dose.
A total of 16,105,730 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,865,450 persons have received the second dose.
The booster dose has been administered to 4,523,953 persons. This includes 71,767 persons vaccinated on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 46,111 persons and the second dose was administered to 174 persons. The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,681,433 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 482,897 persons have received the second dose.
The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 660 persons on Wednesday and 1,181 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 11,980,755 persons and 11,020,787 persons have received the second dose as well.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
