12 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday

Health officials on Thursday confirmed 12 COVID-19 fatalities, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,574.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday include eight persons over the age of 60 and four persons from the 30 to 59 age group. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.54% of the total fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.29% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.17% of the fatalities are below the age of 30.

Seven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and five were female. Of the total fatalities, 7,590 are male and 5,984 are female.
