COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 126,487 persons on Saturday and 60.65% of the country’s total population has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
According to Our World in Data, the first dose has been administered to 69.44% of the population. The Epidemiology Unit states that 14,975,778 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,126,455 persons have received the second dose as well. On Saturday, 6,542 persons received the first dose of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine and 82,688 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 11,869,877 persons and 10,382,421 persons have received the second dose of Sinopharm.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 664,132 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 431,598 persons have received the second dose of Pfizer. On Saturday, the first dose of the vaccine was administered to 33,295 persons and the second dose was administered to 608 persons.
The second dose of AstraZeneca was administered to 3,054 persons on Saturday, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 1,386,575. The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,575 persons.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,098 persons and 770,207 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine. On Saturday, 240 persons received the second dose of Moderna.
60 persons received the second dose of Sputnik V on Saturday and a total of 155,654 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 159,096 persons.
