Health officials confirmed 13 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,231.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday include 11 persons over 60 years and two persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Monday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.26% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.54% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.2% are below 30 years.
Eight COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Monday were male and five were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,551 are male and 6,680 are female.
