Health officials confirmed 13 COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,374.
12 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday were from the over-60 age group and one was from the 30-59 age group. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Wednesday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.25% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.43% are between 30 and 59 years and 1.32% are below 30 years.
Eight COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday were male and five were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 9,227 are male and 7,147 are female.
