Health officials confirmed 14 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,163.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include 11 persons over 60 years of age and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Tuesday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.52% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.19% are below 30 years.
Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,513 are male and 6,650 are female.
Seven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and seven were female.
