COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 148,813 persons on Tuesday with first dose coverage exceeding 15 million.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 15,147,114 persons received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 13,265,898 persons have received the second dose as well. The Epidemiology Unit added that 90.8% of the over-20 population has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Of the country’s total population, 61.41% have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to date. According to Our World in Data, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered on 70.06% of the population.
On Tuesday, 80,990 persons received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and 973 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 824,527 persons, of which 433,793 persons have received the second dose as well.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,880,818 persons and 10,516,119 persons have received the second dose of Sinopharm. On Tuesday, 4,616 persons received the first dose and 61,551 persons received the second dose of Sinopharm.
The second dose of AstraZeneca was administered to 548 persons on Tuesday, raising the total number of persons to receive both doses of AstraZeneca to 1,388,700. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 1,479,575 persons.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,098 persons and the second dose has been administered to 771,632 persons. On Tuesday, the second dose of Moderna was administered to 135 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,096 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,654 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
