Health officials confirmed 15 COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,821.
Thirteen COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were over the age of 60 and two fatalities were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.47% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.35% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.18% of the fatalities are below the age of 30.
Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 7,715 are male and 6,106 are female. Nine COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were female and six were male.
