Health officials confirmed 15 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,149.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday include eight persons over 60 years and seven persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.31% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.5% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.2% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
10 COIVD-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and five were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,506 are male and 6,643 are female.
