152,835 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 152,835 persons on Wednesday and Epidemiology Unit data shows that over three million persons have received the booster dose in the country.

The booster dose has been administered to a total of 3,006,409 persons. This includes 147,745 persons vaccinated on Wednesday.

The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 1,036 persons on Wednesday and 2,843 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,965,767 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,987,375 persons.

The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,566,848 persons and 472,233 persons have received the second dose as well. On Wednesday, 800 persons received the first dose of Pfizer and 411 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose as well. The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons. The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 15,976,157 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,821,374 persons.

According to Our World in Data, 74.3% of the country’s population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 64.28% of the population has received both doses.
