Health officials confirmed 17 COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,760.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday include 11 persons over the age of 60 and six persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.48% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, while 22.35% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group and 1.18% of the fatalities are from the under-30 age group.
Eleven COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday were male and six were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities confirmed in the country, 7,690 are male and 6,070 are female.
