Health officials confirmed 17 COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,386.
Ten persons over 60 years, six persons between 30 and 59 years, and one person below 30 years were among the COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.24% of the country’s total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.54% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.22% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Ten COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and seven were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,645 are male and 6,741 are female.
