Health officials confirmed 17 COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,272.
Ten persons over the age of 60, six persons between 30 and 59 years, and one person below 30 years were among the COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday.
Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 76.28% are over 60 years, 22.52% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.2% are below 30 years.
Thirteen COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Thursday were male and four were female. Epidemiology Unit data states that 8,577 of the total COVID-19 deaths are male and 6,695 COVID-19 deaths are female.
