COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 18,454 persons on Sunday and Epidemiology Unit data shows that 93.5% of the population over the age of 20 has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
According to Our World in Data, the first dose has been administered to 73.84% of the total population and 63.49% of the total population has received the second dose as well.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 15,876,907 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,665,555 persons have received the second vaccine dose.
In addition to this, a third or booster dose using the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 112,991 persons. On Sunday, 1,343 persons received the third dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 681 persons on Sunday and the second dose was administered to 313 persons. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,504,505 persons and the second dose has been administered to 450,727 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,928,860 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,857,745 persons. On Sunday, 468 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 15,644 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
Five persons received the second dose of Moderna on Sunday, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 782,709 persons. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 804,801 persons.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,781 persons have received the second dose as well.
