18 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 18 COVID-19 fatalities on Saturday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,752.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday include 16 persons over 60 years and two persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Saturday.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.47% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.36% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.17% are below 30 years.

11 COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Saturday were male and seven were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,273 are male and 6,479 are female.
