Health officials confirmed 18 COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,037.
Eleven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday were of individuals between 30 and 59 years of age and seven were over 60 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Sunday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.39% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.44% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.17% are below 30 years.
Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,439 are male and 6,598 are female.
Eleven COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday were male and seven were female.
