Health officials confirmed 18 COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,083.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday include 13 persons over the age of 60 and five persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.32% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.5% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.19% are below 30 years.
Twelve COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday were male and six were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,468 are male and 6,615 are female.
