Health officials confirmed 18 more COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s death toll to 14,573.
The deaths confirmed on Thursday include 15 persons over 60 years and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Thursday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.51% of the total fatalities are over 60 years, 22.33% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.16% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Nine fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and nine were female. Of the total fatalities, 8,163 are male and 6,410 are female.
