COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 19,534 persons on Sunday and 76.7% of the total population has received at least one vaccine dose.
Second dose coverage among the total population is 64.04% and third dose coverage is 27.94% The Epidemiology Unit states that 16,812,378 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 14,037,768 persons have received the second dose as well.
The booster dose has been administered to 6,128,974 persons.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 77.8% of those of aged 16 to 19 have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Data on COVID-19 immunisation published by the Epidemiology Unit also shows that 95.3% of the population over 20 years has received the first vaccine dose and 41.91% has received the booster dose.
Among the population over 12 years, first dose coverage is 95.2% and second dose coverage is 79.5%.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 393 persons on Sunday and the second dose was administered to 443 persons. In total, 2,367,347 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 615,592 persons have received the second dose.The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose in the country and 18,534 persons received the booster dose on Sunday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 27 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm on Sunday and 137 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 12,001,489 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,060,410 persons.
A total of 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and 787,361 persons have received the second dose as well. The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
