202 COVID-19 fatalities raise total to 9,806

Health officials on Thursday confirmed 202 COVID-19 deaths, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 9,806.

The deaths confirmed on Thursday include 155 persons over the age of 60, 42 persons aged between 30 and 59, and five persons below the age of 30. The Epidemiology Unit states that 75.96% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.98% are in the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.06% are below the age of 30.

A total of 113 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male while 89 were female. Of the total fatalities, 5,564 are male and 4,153 are female.
