Health officials on Wednesday confirmed 204 more COVID-19 deaths, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 9,604.
According to the Department of Government Information, 149 persons over the age of 60, 50 persons aged between 30 and 59, and five persons below the age of 30 are among the deaths confirmed on Wednesday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.02% of the total fatalities are in the over 60 age group, while 22.95% are in the 30 to 59 age group and 1.03% are below age 30.
Of the COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Wednesday, 109 were male and 95 were female. Of the total fatalities, 5,451 are male and 4,153 are female.
