COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 21,739 persons on Tuesday and 93% of the country’s population over the age of 20 had received both vaccine doses as of 8 November.
The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 15,825,242 persons while 13,596,509 persons have received the second dose as well.
The third dose has been administered to 78,677 persons and it is the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine that is being administered as a booster. On Tuesday, 8,262 persons received the Pfizer vaccine as a third dose.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 7,666 persons on Tuesday and 643 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose has been administered to 1,464,349 persons and the second dose has been administered to 447,746 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,918,702 persons and the second dose to 10,792,092 persons. On Tuesday, 946 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 2,776 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
Ninety-three persons received the first dose of Moderna on Tuesday, and 26 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,450 persons and the second dose to 782,509 persons.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,382 persons have received the second dose. This includes 1,327 persons who received the second dose on Tuesday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,780 persons have received the second dose.
