Health officials confirmed 21 COVID-19 fatalities on Saturday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,461.
18 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday were over 60 years and three fatalities were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.49% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.34% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.17% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that 8,100 COVID-19 fatalities are male and 6,361 fatalities are female. 14 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday were male and seven were female.
