22 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 22 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,244.

19 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were over 60 years, two fatalities were between 30 and 59 years and one fatality was below 30 years.

Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 76.22% are from the over-60 age group, 22.48% are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.31% are from the under-30 age group.

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 9,159 COVID-19 deaths are male and 7,085 COVID-19 deaths are female.

11 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and 11 were female.
