Health officials confirmed 23 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,057.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include 21 persons over the age of 60 and two persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.51% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.31% are between 30 and 59 years and 1.18% are below 30 years.
Thirteen fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and ten were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 7,851 are male and 6,206 are female.
