Twenty-three more COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed by health officials on Monday, raising the country’s death toll to 13,377.
The deaths confirmed on Monday include 19 persons over the age of 60, three persons from the 30 to 59 age group, and one person below the age of 30.
The Epidemiology Unit states that the over-60 age group makes up 76.53% of the total fatalities, while the 30 to 59 age group makes up 22.31% of the fatalities and the under-30 age group accounts for 1.16% of the fatalities.
The Epidemiology Unit’s data shows that 7,471 fatalities are male and 5,906 fatalities are female. Of the deaths confirmed on Monday, 12 were female and 11 were male.
