23 more COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 23 more COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 14,328.

Nineteen fatalities confirmed on Sunday were over 60 years and four were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the below-30 age group.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.56% of the total fatalities are over 60 years, 22.26% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% of the fatalities are below 30 years.

Sixteen deaths confirmed on Sunday were male and seven were female. Of the total fatalities, 8,022 are male and 6,306 are female.
