25 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

25 COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed by health officials on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,899.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include 19 persons over 60 years and six persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Tuesday.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.24% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.46% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.3% of the fatalities are below 30 years.20 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and five were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,960 are male and 6,939 are female.
