27,209 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 27,209 persons on Sunday and 78.36% of the country’s population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Our World in Data states that 65.49% of the population has received the second vaccine dose as well.

The booster dose has been administered to 29.61% of the total population.

Of the population over 12 years, 95.4% has received the first dose and 79.8% has received the second dose. As of 20 February, 95.3% of the population over 20 years had received the first two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and 44.41% has received the booster dose.

The Epidemiology Unit adds that 78.2% of the 16 to 19 age group has received the first vaccine dose.

The Epidemiology Unit adds that the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,849,327 persons, of which 14,082,672 persons have received the second dose.

The third dose has been administered to 6,489,303 persons. This includes 22,977 persons vaccinated on Sunday.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 779 persons on Sunday, raising the total number of persons to have received the first dose of the vaccine to 2,394,808. The second dose of Pfizer has been administered to 644,811 persons, of which 793 were vaccinated on Sunday.

On Sunday, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 632 persons and the second dose was administered to 2,028 persons. In total, 12,010,977 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,076,095 persons have received the second dose.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
