Health officials confirmed 27 COVID-19 fatalities on Saturday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,305.
Among the COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday were 22 fatalities over 60 years and five fatalities between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.55% of the total fatalities are over 60 years, 22.27% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% of the total fatalities are below 30 years.
Fourteen COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday were male and 13 were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,006 are male and 6,299 are female.
