28,377 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 28,377 persons on Saturday, with first dose vaccination coverage reaching 78.83% in the country.

According to Our World in Data, 66.3% of the total population has received the second vaccine dose.

The Epidemiology Unit states that the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,951,559 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,258,603 persons.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose in the country and a total of 7,563,334 persons have received the third dose. This includes 18,458 persons vaccinated on Saturday.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 4,653 persons on Saturday and a total of 2,479,307 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine to date. On Saturday, 4,034 persons received the second dose of Pfizer, raising the total number of second dose Pfizer vaccines administered in the country to 786,565.

The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 12,028,710 persons and 11,110,272 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine. On Saturday, 361 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 871 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose as well.

The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and the second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.

A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
