COVID-19 vaccinations were administered to 29,232 persons on Wednesday and 77.27% of the population has received at least one vaccine dose to date.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, second dose coverage in the country is 64.88% and third dose coverage is 33.61%.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that 16,937,437 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 14,230,593 persons have received the second dose as well.
The third vaccine dose has been administered to 7,385,755 persons. This includes 18,200 persons vaccinated on Wednesday. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose in the country.
On Wednesday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 1,785 persons and the second dose was administered to 7,279 persons. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 2,466,531 persons and the second dose has been administered to 761,324 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 587 persons on Wednesday and a total of 12,027,364 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm to date. The second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 11,107,503 persons, out of which 1,381 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The Sputnik V first dose has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
