Health officials confirmed 29 COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 13,640.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday include 22 persons over the age of 60, six persons between 30 and 59 years, and one person below the age of 30. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.52% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.31% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.17% of the fatalities are below the age of 30.
Epidemiology Unit data shows that 7,621 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed by health officials are male and 6,019 COVID-19 fatalities are female. Of the COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday, 17 were female and 12 were male.
