COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 30,020 persons on Wednesday and 63.25% of the country’s total population has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
According to Our World in Data, 73.62% of the population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The Epidemiology Unit states that 93.1% of the country’s population over the age of 20 has received both vaccine doses.
The first dose has been administered to 15,837,790 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,604,891 persons.
The third dose has been administered to 89,097 persons, with 9,639 persons receiving the third dose on Wednesday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 10,403 persons on Wednesday and the second dose of the vaccine was administered to 676 persons. In total, 1,475,061 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 448,422 persons have received the second dose of Pfizer.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,920,482 persons and 10,799,569 persons have received the second dose as well. On Wednesday, 1,767 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 7,461 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. 56 persons received the first dose of Moderna on Wednesday and 18 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,506 persons and the second dose has been administered to 782,527 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose as well. The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and 155,780 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
