COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 30,669 persons on Thursday and 74.41% of the country’s population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The second dose of a COVID-19 has been administered to 64.44% of the population, Our World in Data states.
Of the population over 20 years, 94.7% has received the first two doses and 28.9% has received the booster dose.
Meanwhile, vaccination of children between 12 and 15 years began yesterday. Only one COVID-19 vaccine dose will be administered to this age group.
The second dose for persons between 15 and 19 years will be administered starting February, after they complete 12 weeks since the first dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 15,997,744 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,853,950 persons have received the second dose as well.
The third dose has been administered to 4,229,162 persons. This includes 28,619 persons vaccinated on Thursday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 290 persons received the first dose of Pfizer on Thursday and 203 persons received the second dose. The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to a total of 1,577,587 persons and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 481,343 persons.
On Thursday, 497 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 1,060 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,976,615 persons and 11,010,841 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
