30 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 30 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,874.

22 COVID-19 patients detected on Monday were over 60 years and eight were between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.25% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.45% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.3% of the fatalities are below 30 years.

Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,940 fatalities are male and 6,934 fatalities are female. 20 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and 10 were female.
