32 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 32 COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,222.

24 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday were over the age of 60, six fatalities were between ages 30 and 59, and two fatalities were below the age of 30.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.22% of the total COVID-19 deaths are from the over-60 age group, 22.48% are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.3% are from the under-30 age group.

According to the Department of Government Information, 16 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday were male and 16 were female. A total of 9,148 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,074 are female.
