Over 10 million persons have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to date, with 352,008 persons vaccinated on Thursday.
The first dose of a vaccine has been administered to 13,264,806 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,211,537 persons. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 85.3% of the population over the age of 30 has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine while 33.9% of the 20-29 population has received the first dose of a vaccine, and 12.2% have received the second dose as well.
At present, the Sinopharm, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and Sputnik V vaccines are being administered in the country.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 10,496,253 persons and the second dose has been administered to 8,318,368 persons. On Thursday, 111,870 persons received the first dose and 201,834 persons received the second dose of Sinopharm.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 14,279 persons on Thursday and 507 persons received the second dose of Pfizer on Thursday. In total, 410,224 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 237,163 persons have received the second dose.
The Epidemiology Unit states that the first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,426,469 persons, of which 889,110 persons have received the second dose as well. On Thursday, 9,778 persons received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 669 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca.
Thirty persons received the first dose of Moderna on Thursday and 13,040 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to a total of 772,771 persons and the second dose has been administered to 723,446 persons.
One person received the first dose of Sputnik V on Thursday, raising the total number of persons to receive the first dose of Sputnik V to 159,089, of which 43,450 persons have received the second dose as well.
