41 COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Monday

The Health Services Director General on Monday confirmed 41 COVID-19 deaths, which raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 3,574.

28 of the COVID-19 deaths confirmed were in the over 60 age category, 12 were in the 30 to 59 age category and one person in the below 30 age category. With the exception of Monday’s COVID-19 deaths, 75.15% of the total fatalities were above the age of 60, 23.52% were between ages 30 and 59, and 1.33% were below the age of 30.

Of the fatalities, 2,084 were male and 1,490 were female. This includes the deaths confirmed on Monday, of which 23 were male and 18 were female.
