COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 42,917 persons on Tuesday and first dose coverage in the country has risen to 76.7% among the total population.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 64.04% of the population has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 27.94% of the population has received the booster dose.
The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to a total of 16,821,707 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,044,375 persons.
The third dose has been administered to 6,214,639 persons. This includes 38,112 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 954 persons received the first dose of Pfizer on Tuesday and 2,623 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 2,375,381 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 620,023 persons have received the second dose as well.
On Tuesday, 504 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 724 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 12,002,784 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,062,586 persons.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
A total of 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V, of which 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
