43,969 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 43,969 persons yesterday and 74.41% of the country’s population have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to date.

Our World in Data states that the second dose has been administered to 64.43% of the total population. This is 94.7% of the population over 20 years.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 28.7% of the population over 20 years have received the booster dose.

A total of 15,996,826 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,852,537 persons have received the second dose. The third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 4,198,427 persons.

On Wednesday, 41,497 persons received the booster dose, for which the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 432 persons on Wednesday and 557 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to a total of 1,577,253 persons and the second dose has been administered to 481,140 persons.

On Wednesday, 483 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 1,000 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 11,976,031 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,009,631 persons have received the second dose.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
