43 COVID-19 fatalities raise death toll to 13,185

Health officials confirmed 43 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,185.

According to the Department of Government Information, 23 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and 20 were female. Of the total fatalities, 7,351 are male and 5,834 are female.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.46% of the total COVID-19 fatalities belong to the over-60 age group, 22.39% belong to the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.16% belong to the under-30 age group. On Tuesday, the deaths of 36 persons over the age of 60 and seven persons in the 30 to 59 age group were confirmed by health officials.
