47,763 persons receive COVID-19 vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 47,763 persons on Wednesday and 78.14% of the total population had received at least one vaccine dose as of 8 February.

Our World in Data states that 65.23% of the population has received the second dose as well.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 16,800,981 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 14,027,528 persons have received the second dose of a vaccine.

The third dose has been administered to 5,942,255 persons. This includes 43,883 persons vaccinated on Wednesday.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,026 persons received the first dose of Pfizer on Wednesday and 1,713 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 2,358,666 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 609,078 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

On Wednesday, 403 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 738 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 11,998,773 persons, of which 11,056,684 persons have received the second dose as well.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
