47 deaths raise COVID fatalities to 3,077

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 fatalities rose to 3,077 yesterday with the confirmation of 47 more deaths by the Director General of Health Services the previous day.

According to the Department of Government Information, the deaths of one person below 30 years, 12 persons between 30 and 59 years, and 34 persons over the age of 60 were confirmed as COVID-19 deaths.

Of the 47, 31 were female and 16 were male.
