COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 474,116 persons on Wednesday, raising the number of persons to receive the first dose of a vaccine to 12,564,209 and the number of persons to receive the second dose to 8,582,094.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 74.7% of the country’s population over the age of 30 has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
On Wednesday, 58,181 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 400,949 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 9,937,161 persons and the second dose to 6,798,514 persons. The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,389,752 persons and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 885,965 persons. This includes persons vaccinated on Wednesday, when 3,584 persons received the first dose of the vaccine and 348 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca.
18 persons received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday and 180 persons received the second dose. In total, 306,421 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine and 187,019 persons have received both doses.
On Wednesday, 131 persons received the first dose of Moderna and 10,725 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose has been administered to a total of 771,787 persons, of which 685,107 persons have received the second dose as well.
In addition to the above vaccines, the Sputnik V first dose has been administered to 159,088 persons and the second dose to 25,489 persons.
