A total of 480 fuel stations covering all Police divisions of the country will remain open even when curfew has been imposed in order to facilitate logistics, including organising food deliveries to be purchased when curfew lifts in select districts tomorrow.
A statement issued by the Department of Government Information today states that there is sufficient fuel to meet the demand once curfew is lifted. Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman Sumith Wijesinghe has informed the public that there is no need to panic or queue up at fuel stations as there will be no disruptions or shortages in the supply of fuel.
More information on the fuel stations that will remain open can be found on ceypetco.gov.lk
