Fifty-five COVID-19 deaths occurred on Monday, the Director General of Health Services yesterday confirmed.
According to a statement issued by the Department of Government Information (DGI), 44 persons over the age of 60 were among the fatalities. The remaining 11 persons were between the ages 30 and 59.
The DGI adds that 33 persons were male and 22 were female.
This brings the country’s COVID-19 fatalities to 2,315.
