COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 56,107 persons on Tuesday and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 76.9% of the total population.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 64.29% of the population has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and the third dose has been administered to 29.83% of the population.
As of 21 February, 95.4% of the population over 20 years had received the first two vaccine doses and 44.75% had received the booster dose. Among the population over 12 years, 95.5% have received the first dose and 79.8% have received the second dose.
COVID-19 vaccination coverage among the population aged 16 to 19 years is 78.3%.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 16,859,786 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 14,103,467 persons have received the second dose as well.
The third dose has been administered to 6,600,544 persons. This includes 43,880 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 2,609 persons on Tuesday, raising the total number of persons to receive the first dose of the vaccine to 2,402,559. The second dose of Pfizer has been administered to 660,613 persons, of which 7,404 persons were vaccinated on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 844 persons and the second dose was administered to 1,370 persons. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 12,013,685 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,081,088 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and the second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.
A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
